| In the last lesson we reviewed all the Hebrew letters we’ve learned so far with a little quiz. |

| In this lesson we will learn two more letters. |
| So let’s start! |
| The fourteenth letter in the Hebrew Alef-Beit is נ - `Nun`. It has a/n `N`. sound |
| this is how you write it- |

| that`s it. |
| the print is the same with a sharper corner- |

| Also `Nun` takes a different form when it appears at the end of a word-ן |
| ן (handwriting) |
| The print is the same with a little side angle- |
| ן (print) |
| Pay attention to make the final Nun, or `Nun Sofit` longer than the frame. |
| And don’t confuse `Nun` with `Vav`! Their difference is only in the length of the stroke.(ן-ו) |
| So נֶכֶד - `Nehed`- is a grandson and נֶכְדָה- `Nehda` is a granddauhter |

| So lets move on to the next letter- |
| ס - `Sameh`, which has an `S` sound. |

| It looks like a circle. |
| In print, it’s a bit different- |

| סוּס -`Sus` is a horse. |

| It is a funny looking word, isn`t it? |

| סוּס טוֹב - `Sus Tov` is a good horse. |
| Guess what! You’re ready for a whole sentence in Hebrew now! |
| סְלִיחָה, כָּמָה זֶה עוֹלֶה |
| `Sliha, kama ze ole? |
| Excuse me, how much is this? |

| Now it`s time for Yana`s insight; |
| `Sameh` is not the only letter in Hebrew with an ‘s’ sound. We will learn the other in the next lessons. Just like we saw already, some Hebrew letters share the same sound. Like `Het` and `Haf`, which both make an ‘h’ sound. It might seem complicated, but just like in English you need to learn the proper spelling for each word! |
