In Hebrew, the masculine form is considered to be the most basic and 'simple' form, from which all other conjugations can be derived, and therefore it is used for teaching new verbs and adjectives. Nevertheless, we acknowledge the importance of including feminine forms and new materials and writing with that in mind.
Please feel free to ask us directly in case you have questions about how to derive the feminine forms from the masculine or any other topic - we're happy to assist :)

All the presented phrases are masculine however we hear them in a female voice. Does it mean that modern Hebrew uses only masculine as effectively gender-neutral pronouns/verbs/adjectives?
Please provide an option to switch between masculine/feminine speakers unless it is considered obsolete. That would be quite progressive, though! 😉

לשישי בדרך כלל אני מדליק את הנרות ,שותה יין ואומרת תפילות . לשבת אני הולכת לבית כנסת ובאחרי צהריים לומדת את העברית שלי For Friday, usually I light candles, drink wine and say prayers. For Saturday I go to synagogue and in the afternoon i study my hebrew.
