Hello everybody. Idit here. Welcome to Hebrew top words. Today, we are going to talk about Top Lines You'll Need to Reject a Date. Let’s start. |
1. |
(Lo toda.) |
No, thanks. |
Even though that’s very proper, it’s also a little bit mean. But again, I guess it kind of depends on the situation, right? |
2. |
(Yesh li chaver.) |
I have a boyfriend. |
Unfortunately, the existence of another man is the only thing that will make another man leave you alone. |
3. |
(Ani lo meunyan) |
I'm not interested. |
Harsh but sometimes you got to be harsh. It’s okay. |
4. |
(Ani lo mechapes kesher.) |
I'm not looking for a relationship. |
Fair enough, yeah. If you are going to say that as a female, you would say, |
(Ani lo mechapeset kesher.) |
5. |
(Bidyuk nifradeti michavera sheli.) |
I just broke up with my girlfriend. |
Um, yeah actually that’s a very valid thing to say. I guess a lot of people after a breakup, they are really not in the mood to start something new and yeah, I respect that. |
6. |
(Ani lo nimshechet lebanim.) |
I'm not attracted to guys. |
That’s kind of a – I mean, it could be true but sometimes that will turn on people even more which I guess is weird, whatever. And if you are a man and you are not attracted to girls, then, you would say, |
(Ani lo nimshakh le-nashim.) |
“I am not attracted to women.” |
7. |
(Ani lo medaberet ivrit.) |
I don't speak Hebrew. |
Sometimes that helps. Sometimes it doesn’t. And also, I mean if you’re watching this video, your Hebrew is probably okay. So I don’t know. It’s just [0:02:06.9] and just, I don’t know how you would use that. |
Okay everybody, that’s it. Let me know in the comments below how would you reject a date or if you’ve ever been rejected in one of these ways.
