Hi Shelley,
Thank you for posting.
The question in Hebrew:
?ืื ืื ืขืฉืจืช ืขื ืคื ืกืคืืจื-ืืงืืฅ ืืืืืืืื
ma hem aseret anfe sport ha'kayitz ha'movilim?
Regarding the expansion sentence about golf: ืงืืึนืช (kalot) means "slightly", so the sentence means "The golfer slightly hits the ball into the hole". As you guessed, this word comes from the word "kal", that has many similar meanings: it can be "easy"; it can be "light" (when referring to weight); "soft", "gentle" (when referring to breeze, sound etc.); "slight", "small", "insignificant" and so on.
"In Israel, soccer is the most popular sport. Yosi watches it all the time. My grandchildren just went fishing for the first time."
.ืืืฉืจืื, ืืืืจืื ืืื ืืกืคืืจื ืืื ืคืืคืืืจื. ืืืกื ืฆืืคื ืื ืื ืืืื. ืื ืืืื ืฉืื ืืืื ืืืื ืืคืขื ืืจืืฉืื ื
Kaduregel is indeed the most popular sport in Israel! It's a shame we're not that good at it :sob:

This lesson contains all the words in the dialogue, but I'd love to see the question written in Hebrew in the notes-What are the top ten summer sports.
Please explain the expansion sentence about golf, the verb puts and the next word-I think it is easily but it is not translated that way in the sentence. Thanks.
