Hi ืคื“ืจื•,

Thanks for your comments!

I hope you'll get to Israel one day and will be able to enjoy it's good foods :)

The ื—ื•ืžื•ืก is even better in Jerusalem

Yours,

Roi

I dont know, I have never been to Israel. The ืกื‘ื™ื— sounds appealing. I would try that for sure. I do like humus in my mediterranean subs here in Florida.

Hi Shelley Lynn,

The adverbs should follow the verb. Hebrew speakers sometimes put it before the verb, but it's a mistake caused by influence of the English language. It's not an embarrassing mistake, but it's better to avoid it.

Keep up the good work!

Sincerely,

Yaara

Thank you, Yaara. I used several words for the first time in that sentence. Do the adverbs usually follow the verb? I put especially in front of love.

Shalom Alex,

Thank you for your comment and feedback.

The expression ืœืžืฆื•ื ื—ืŸ in Hebrew is indeed a beautiful one and deserves a lesson.

Thank you for the good idea!

Happy Hebrew learning,

Shalom from Texas!

What I liked of this lesson was that there was a description of some common Israeli dishes. I have a suggestion:

In addition to the use of the verb ืœืื”ื•ื‘, it seems to me that colloquial Hebrew frequently uses the following constructions:

I like it ืžื•ืฆื ื—ืŸ ื‘ืขื™ื ื™ื™

We like it ืžื•ืฆื ื—ืŸ ื‘ืขื™ื ื™ื ื•

etc....

ื”ืื ื”ืคืกื ืชืจ ืžื•ืฆื ื—ืŸ ื‘ืขื™ื ื™ืš? Do you like the piano?

Perhaps there can be a beginner or intermediate lesson that explains this expression for "to like"?

Toda Raba!

Shalom James,

Thank you for your comment.

It"s almost perfect...

It should be: ืฉื™ืขื•ืจ ื–ื” ืขื•ืฉื” ืื•ืชื™ ืจืขื‘

without the ื” before ืจืขื‘

The ื” before a word is equivalent to the English word: The

ื”ืจืขื‘ in Hebrew means : the hunger

Happy Hebrew learning!
