Hi Zachery,
An addition to the last comment regarding your question:
As pink, varod is an adjective, in colors case, dark, or keheh or kehah would depend on the gender of the adjective that comes before it.
As varod is a masculine adjective, the dark part will become masculine as well.

Tal

Hi Zachery,
Thank you for your comment!😄
Great question!
The adjective dark depends on the gender of the noun that comes before it.
For example, pencil, or in Hebrew "iparon" is a masculine noun.
In a masculine noun's case it would be "keheh." Dark pencil - iparon keheh.
Shirt is a feminine noun, so dark shirt would be - khul'tsah kehah.
Dark pink shirt would be "Khultsah be'tseva varod keheh" which means "A dark pink color shirt."The noun before the adjective is pink which is a masculine noun in Hebrew and that's why it would be "keheh."
Have a pleasant leaning!

Tal

How do you pronounce dark? In this lesson, it is ke-he. In the lesson I received this morning, the speaker said ke-ha. He also said "dark pink shirt." Not sure if it changes.

Please try downloading a keyboard app on your device or checking your keyboard settings.

Dear Mónika,
Thank you for commenting on this lesson and sharing your experience with it!
We're glad to hear that you're having an easy time with most letters - that's always useful when languages we already know have similarities with the ones we learn 😄
The pronunciation of the letter ר is a challenge for many Hebrew learners, which involves a different, guttural production of a sound that is foreign to most languages... It can be learned, of course, but having a little bit of an accent is not a problem at all, as long as one can be understood 😇😄
Happy learning!

Roi

Hello,
Thank you for this lesson, I liked the pictures, it will be a great help with the only sound that is hard for me: “reish”.
This lesson was so easy for me, because in Hungarian these vowel sounds are the same. :)

none of them. I love Hebrew!!
Hi Victoria,
Thanks for posting on this!
Usually, vowels are easier to practice than consonants... you could try practicing this (best in front of a mirror) by listening closely to the Hebrew pronunciation of a word and reciting it until it sounds better... I hope that would help :)
Please feel free to let us know may you have any questions 👍
Best,
Roi

The hardest sound for me is the e.
Hi Mitch,
Thanks for posting on this and for your question.
Yes, the audio for "גם אני הלכתי לרופא שיניים בשבוע שעבר." seems to be missing, we'll look into it 👍
About typing in Hebrew - you can either add Hebrew as a language on your computer settings or use an online keyboard. There are several options online, just search "Hebrew virtual keyboard" and you'll see a few :)
Happy to assist 😄
